GNH Emerging Sangha
Our sangha is the deeper meetings of our community, which in turn is a closer part of our network. Balancing the nine dimensions of GNH generates happiness and deep peace from inside out. The community as a whole supports balance on three levels: in society, in work life and in personal development. The aim of this particular group is to focus on GNH connected to personal development, meditation and deeper reflection on existential life issues.
SO…WHAT IS A SANGHA?
Sangha is a word used in many traditions to denote a deep community that supports individuals to navigate in human existence with wisdom and compassion. This is about creating an environment where we inspire and allow each other to be all that we are. In depth. Our intention with this process is to support both personal and collective transformation, opening for a wider and deeper consciousness.
WAIT A MINUTE – IS THIS SOMETHING RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL?
No. The Sangha, as well as our network as a whole, is completely free of political and religious affiliation. No need to be or become either an Atheist, Buddhist or Christian, Muslim, Hindu or New Age. Our sangha can be inspired by different traditions but is at its core essentially free from all concepts and beliefs. We will examine modern science as well as profound spiritual traditions, but we will do this in order to ”undress” the issues that we face and handle the pure existential life issues, without offering ready-made answers. You are therefore equally included regardless of belief or non-belief. Similarly, we will address many existential and ethical questions in society, but without being specifically connected to any political view.
WELL, WHAT DO YOU DO THEN, WHEN YOU MEET?
Certain aspects will be co-created along the way, but for the sake of sustainability and security we have a basic framework that naturally seems to emerge:
- Input – a presentation, a story, a creative experience, a shared meal or anything that inspires us to go deeper into being human
- Sharing and dialogue aiming to explore and manage our core
- Music or meditation
- Concluding thoughts and maybe ideas for the next meeting
GREAT, BUT WHAT DOES IT COST?
Nothing. GNH Sangha will always be free to attend, but of course there will be a possibility to donate to the sangha and/or to the person or offering an ”input” – to cover the costs. And when we eat together we all contribute to the extent we can.
The group’s profile, as well as the entire network, is politically and religiously independent. You are welcome to join us. Simply contact us on this form – or follow us on Facebook by clicking the button below.
